On the very first visit, the visiting nurse will review your child’s living space and speak with you about any services requested by the physician. The nurse may then assess your child for more insight into their level of care needed. Then, the nurse will develop a comprehensive care plan and communicate it to you. It's Personal
Born in Texas, Koco comes from an extensive background in private duty nursing where she hit the ground running as a field nurse in 2004. She received her RN title and quickly jumped into the Clinical world. Her expertise in this role catapulted her to Clinical Director where she eventually went on to become Vice President of Clinical Operations for 17 years with her previous employer.
All of our staff are licensed and insured and undergo an intensive interview, health screening, training, background checks and verification of credentials and references. For children with psychosocial challenges like Down syndrome or autism, the nurse may tailor physiotherapy and psychosocial activities to help your child improve self-care and be independent. They are professional and are very involved in all aspects of our son’s care. I can see how much they care for our son and make sure he is taken care of.
